Mesa Schools Graduate Highest % of Students in Nation

The Tribune reported in this article that Mesa Schools have the highest graduation rate of the 50 largest school districts in the country! Way to go! The national average is 70% and Mesa’s graduation rate is 77.1% of students.

Hwy 87 Open Again, but Restricted

Looks like ADOT was able to divert around the affected area using the northbound lanes.  Two-way traffic for about a 2 mile stretch so expect slower traffic and longer than usual travel times.

So another year of spring training has come to an end.  Mesa’s Hohokam Stadium is home to the Cub’s Spring Training Games.  Attendance was fantastic this year.  This article in the AZCentral outlines the numbers and the economic impact on our city.
